Mitel Dynamic Extension solution, runs on Mitel proprietary 3300 Communications Platform (ICP) or industry standard Sun, HP and IBM servers, your choice, and works with any mobile device, over any network, with any carrier in the world. With the push of a button you can hand-off a mobile call to your desk phone – or seamlessly move any call from your desk phone to your mobile. You choose – the call will follow. When traveling internationally, users can easily access their corporate network using a Wi-Fi connection. At an airport, at the hotel or even at a café – calls can be made and received over Wi-Fi lowering international calling expenses for your organization.
Customers, suppliers, partners and colleagues need only dial your business phone number to reach you on any of the devices you have selected – allowing you to remain connected and accessible from anywhere. For example, while you are working at a customer site, a loaned desk phone could serve as your business extension. Regardless of which device you use to answer or make a call, your office telephone number is displayed as the Caller Line ID at the other end.
Dynamic Extension allows you to have one centralized mailbox to store all voice messages, instead of having individual mailboxes for each of your devices. This not only simplifies your message management, it eliminates the expense of multiple voicemail services.
