Integrated Management ApplicationsThe Integrated Management Applications suite extends the core functionality of Enterprise Manager with additional management capabilities.Voice Quality ManagerThe Voice Quality Manager is an application option within Enterprise Manager for continuous monitoring of IP voice quality throughout the network. Mitel IP phones can be configured to report on network quality at the end of calls and at intermediate intervals during longer calls to quickly determine when and where problems occur. This enables the network administrator to resolve network voice quality issues before they become widespread saving time and maximizing voice application performance.Report Generation OptionEnterprise Manager offers a report generation option using Crystal ReportsĀ® to reduce administrative workload in preparing a wide variety of integrated tabular and graphical reports on system inventory data, alarms, events, and voice quality statistical data. Report criteria can be customized as required and reports can be setup to run on a scheduled basis or launched in a context sensitive manner for on demand reporting. Voice quality reports can reveal trends in network performance allowing for corrective action beforeaffecting user desktops.Viola NetAllyThe voice quality management capabilities of Enterprise Manager can be further extended through an integrated management interface to NetAlly, an advanced VoIP performance management application available from Viola Networks a Mitel Solutions Network partner. The NetAlly suite of tools provides the ability to use software agents to simulate IP traffic to perform active troubleshooting or to assess and optimize network capabilities before deployment. NetAlly is able to monitor the voice quality statistics collected from Mitel IP phones though the interface with Enterprise Manager and can trigger automated tests when thresholds are crossed. |
