HP3 Help Phone

The new 3rd generation design HP3 Help Phone assists those living alone or within retirement village communities. In an emergency, the HP3 will report the event, to the Carer’s phone and/or will also deliver the information to the monitoring centre host computer.

Meanwhile, the HP3 is ‘talking’ to the resident to provide reassurance and then, having made the connection, allows high quality two-way loud speaking (hands free) speech between the resident and the carer, operator or family member. Using the Speakezy portable and/or fixed location wireless transceivers, the range of this voice-to-voice communication facility can also be extended to cover the resident’s premises, sheds and garden.

The HP3 hosts a range of features that ensure comprehensive and timely reporting of all types of emergencies. In addition, it’s functional design enables easy control and helps with day-to-day activities:

HP3 - Caring for Carers

To satisfy occupational health and safety obligations, the HP3 allows an attending carer to generate a high priority “Staff Assist” call by pressing a sequence of two buttons or via wireless channels, whereby a carer carrying a personal emergency transmitter may summon help whilst traveling around the grounds.


Enhanced Monitoring Facilities

The optional MultiCare wireless module will convert a normal house residence, a village ILU or any similar domestic location into a permanent or temporary high care monitored environment. The MultiCare’s programmable monitoring and reporting options include “bed exit” through to “extended period of bed vacancy”, “bed wet” and “diaper wet” conditions, wandering from room/safety perimeter or overdue from ensuite.


SmartCare-1000: Computer-Based Nurse-Call System

The SmartCare-1000 system offers a total solution to managing residential care from low care (independent living) to high care and dementia categories, assisting with the necessary documentation to free carer staff from paperwork.

Its design flexibility allows a few, to several thousand hard-wired or wireless call-points or other trigger devices to communicate up to 1.5km with the host computer. The system may be configured initially accommodate any of the follow applications with the ability to include other levels of service without obsolescence or the need to change cabling infrastructures:
  • Independent living nurse-call and security
  • Hostel assisted care nurse-call
